Bobby is professional reining horse trainer doing business as Avila Performance Horses. The business is operated out of the facility of Zimmerman Performance Horses. Bobby has been training horses for the public for 5 years. With his dedication to the sport of reining success is in the future.

Congratulations to Bobby Avila Jr and Kristen Tuohy! Bobby and Kristen were married July 4^th, 2008 in Las Vegas. Since we all missed it they celebrated with a wedding cake at the July show!

Chris Ferguson our new head trainer at Fingland Stables. Born and raised in the Canadian Rockies, Chris spent his early years ski jumping with the Canadian National Team. Chris' natural athletic ability has allowed him to become one of the reining horse industry's top young talents.

Chris has worked with some of the best horsemen in the world, such as Cecil Papke, Gord Hester, Karen Jarvise and AQHA Hall of Fame member Jack Kyle. Additionally, Chris is quick to say that Dell Hendricks played an important role in his success.

Throughout the US and Canada, Chris has earned a reputation as a horse trainer with extraordinary ability and integrity. This makes him the ideal head trainer for Fingland Stables as he shares our belief that striving to do the right thing will lead to long-term success.

Our training program is now accepting a limited number of select horses. We commit to those who entrust their horses to us, that we will treat you with the same fairness and integrity we would desire for ourselves.
